Purchasing an off-plan property in the UAE may seem straightforward, especially if you speak directly with the developer. However, there are compelling reasons to always engage an experienced real estate agent. Here are five key reasons why this is a wiser approach.
A Good Agent Looks After Your Interests, Not the Developer's

Whether it is a government-backed developer in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, their staff are not objective. They are only permitted to sell their own projects. A good agent receives the same commission regardless of the developer and will therefore recommend the project that genuinely suits your requirements. - Developers Do Not Assist with Rental or Resale
Once you have purchased, their service typically ends. If you wish to rent out or resell the property, you are on your own.
