How Much Does a Careem Delivery Driver Earn in Dubai?
The work of a delivery driver in Dubai is intensive and requires long days. Many drivers come from countries such as Pakistan and work between 10 and 12 hours daily. On average, they complete 17 to 18 deliveries per day, spread across different neighbourhoods like Dubai Marina and Palm Jumeirah.
The average monthly income is around 4,200 to 4,500 dirhams (approximately €1,070 to €1,145), including salary and commission. Part of this goes towards rent, which typically costs between 350 and 380 dirhams (€89 to €97) per month. Monthly food expenses amount to around 250 to 280 dirhams (€64 to €71). Additionally, they often have to pay for their own fuel.
Many drivers also send money to their families each month, often between 2,200 and 2,500 dirhams (€560 to €637).
How Much Does a Driver Earn Per Delivery, and What Impact Does a Tip Have on Their Salary?
With 4,350 dirhams per month and an average of 525 deliveries, the income per delivery comes to 8.29 dirhams (€2.11). This may not seem like much, but it can increase significantly if customers leave a tip.
A common tip is 5 or 10 dirhams per order. This makes a substantial difference immediately:
