Since the introduction of their iconic ‘Dubai chocolate’, FIX Dessert Chocolatier has become a true hit among those with a sweet tooth in the United Arab Emirates. Known for their unique combination of milk chocolate, pistachio cream, crunchy knafeh, and tahini, the popular dessert bars from FIX can no longer be ordered via Deliveroo.
From 20 October 2025, they are available exclusively via Careem Quik.
A significant blow for Deliveroo. I only used the app to occasionally order a FIX bar. Deliveroo also forced you to order 2 bars at once, hopefully Careem will handle this differently.
Fast Delivery and Exclusive Availability
The partnership with Careem means the beloved bars can be delivered to your home in just 20 minutes in both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Careem Plus members also benefit from free delivery. Through Careem, FIX offers their full range of nine distinctive dessert bars, including the popular mini pack of ten pieces. Flavours such as ‘Can’t Get Knafeh Of It’, ‘Catch Me If Pecan’, and ‘Butter To Be Safe Than Salty’ are part of the offering.
What makes FIX special is that the brand has no physical shop, web shop, or social media shop. Outside of their temporary pop-up at Dubai International Airport Terminal 3, Careem is therefore the only place where fans can get their hands on the coveted bars. The drops are available daily at 14:00 and 17:00, with prices starting from AED 68 (approximately €17.50 / £15.00) per bar.
A Partnership Between Two Local Success Stories
According to co-founder Yezen Alani, the switch to Careem is entirely about the customer. “Our customers are always at the heart of everything we do. As a local brand, we find it important to work with the right partners, and we are therefore excited about this new chapter with Careem,” said Alani.
Bassel Alnahlaoui, Chief Business Officer of Careem, emphasised the importance of this partnership: “With FIX, we are bringing a local favourite to our platform and making it easier than ever for customers to receive their favourite chocolate at home.”
Mudassir Sheikha, co-founder and CEO of Careem, added that FIX fits perfectly into the Careem Quik offering, which now delivers everything from groceries to electronics to customers’ homes at lightning speed. “The partnership with FIX shows how two local brands can create something special together,” said Sheikha.
The FIX chocolate bars have now achieved a true cult status. During the World Economic Forum in Davos, people queued in the cold at the FIX pop-up, just to get their hands on a bar of the ‘Dubai chocolate’. The switch to Careem makes it possible for an even wider audience to enjoy this local delicacy.
