Each balcony is equipped with a system that allows the temperature to be set, for example to 20 degrees. The cooling is provided by ventilation grilles that blow cold air, without the high cost of traditional air conditioning. Thanks to the use of solar panels on the roof, the energy costs are even lower.
The Sunken Balcony is patented and unique in the UAE. With a project value of AED 175 million (approximately €48 million), REEF 1000 focuses on comfort and sustainability.
